Machines4sale.co.uk attracts interest in the USA

As well as achieving an increase to over 330,000 hits in October, www.machines4sale.co.uk has now attracted advertisers from the USA including CW Wood Machinery Inc, Deal Makers Machinery, Asset Exchange Inc, Machinery Values Inc and North American Machinery Sales.

By adding their machine tools to www.machines4sale.co.uk, these companies will get additional exposure to the seventy countries around the world which have been reached by the website.

Leading engineering companies like Mori Seiki and Cincinnati Machine, part of the Mag Automation Group, also support the site, using it as a vehicle for generating more interest in their own websites, a place to publish editorial and a shop window for their products.

Within the site visitors will find a vast range of equipment to choose from, including fabrication machinery from Trumpf, Amada and Strippit; grinders from Jones & Shipman and Okamoto; mills and lathes from Bridgeport, Hass and Colchester; and EDM equipment from Agie, Ona and Sodick. The choice will enable engineers to compare offerings and select the best solution for their company all in one place.

Growing a website

Even more ads on Machines4sale

Following on from last week’s announcement of receiving over 250,000 hits in its second full month of being on-line, www.machines4sale.co.uk now has over 1,000 advertisements on its site.

This is particularly gratifying, as companies such as Dugard, Percy Martin, Craig Strong, Cameron Machine Tools and EDM Sales all have advertisements on the site. The range of tools offered is also comprehensive, and includes Cincinnati, Bridgeport, Mazak, Mori Seiki, Haas and Colchester, as well as many lesser known names.
Advertisers have reported that they are receiving considerable numbers of genuine enquiries through the site, as well as ‘click throughs’ from their tile and banner advertisements.

A particular feature of the site is the ‘News’ section, which has industry updates from many sources. Recent stories have covered companies involved with Formula1 racing and motorsport, post-EMO and TCT reports, as well as product news. Machines4sale is committed to carrying a range of these stories, to encourage visitors to the site and to promote examples of engineering excellence.

The site's owners are working hard at website optimisation, and would welcome any suggestions to improve this, and constructive criticism of the site.
